Nola Arabie Lasyone

Westlake - Nola Arabie Lasyone, 84, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2013 at her residence.

She was of Catholic faith. She enjoyed the outdoors and was a loving mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her son, Donald Rogers and wife Beatrice of Topsy: daughters, Betty Hesse and husband Joe of Moss Bluff; Brenda Lawson and husband Elmer of Westlake; brothers, Lalton Arabie and wife Lillie Mae of Lake Charles; Louis Arabie and wife Juanita of Gillis; sister, Betty Fontenot of Moss Bluff; ten grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Marcell and Ursula Arabie; husbands, Alton J. Thibodeaux and Grady R. Lasyone; sisters, Aza Mae Lavergne, Evanna Lambert and Naomi Spell.

The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Brighton Bridge Hospice.

Her service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Kevin Lawson will officiate. Visitation will be Friday from 4:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and resume Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until service. Burial will follow at Lacassine Cemetery.
