Mary Carroll

Mary enjoyed sewing, crafting, and photography. She treasured time with her dogs Mocha and Bayou, but most of all Mary loved her family. Mary was a graduate of Jennings High and retired from Montgomery Wards after 30 years of service. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters at St. Margaret Catholic Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Robert John “Johnny” Carroll Sr.; parents, Bernard and Zema Laviolette; sons, Joseph Randall “Randy” Carroll and Robert John “Robbie” Carroll; brother, Joseph Laviolette; and sister; Sadie Laviolette Herbert.

Those left to cherish her memory are grandchildren Jelena Ann Carroll, Brent Carroll, and Mikey Savant; daughter in laws Lydia Carroll and Angela Dronette; and close friends that loved and cared for her. The family would like to thank the staff of Grandcove nursing home and Brighton Bridge Hospice for their loving care in her last few years.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at Hixson Lake Charles “Chapel of Lilies” 3001 Ryan St. Lake Charles, LA 70601 on Tuesday August 13, 2024 at 1 p.m.Visitation with the family will begin at 9 a.m. A rosary with the Catholic Daughters will begin at 12 p.m.

Interment to follow at Creel Cemetery.
