Marvin McQuaid Rogers

He is survived by an Uncle; Gilbert Baynard and six cousins; Tommy Dale Baynard & wife Pam, Cindy Baynard Pearce & husband John, Sherry Ellender, Carolyn Sue Jarvis & husband Steve, Charlotte Rackley & husband, and Roger Baynard & wife Delaina.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Elam McQuaid Rogers and Mildred Baynard Rogers and an uncle; A.W. Baynard, Jr.

Marvin worked at Haydel’s Bakery, Winn Dixie Supermarket, and working as a radio DJ.

Marvin was a member of University Methodist Church. He was a past member of the Jefferson Lion’s Club in Jefferson and a volunteer fireman for Jefferson Parish.

Marvin enjoyed life. He loved his family and his church family.

Visitation will be at Hixson Funeral Home in Lake Charles on Wednesday, December 10th, 2014 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM.

The Visitation will continue on Thursday, December 11th, 2014 from 9:00AM until Funeral Service at 10:00 AM with Rev. Charles Langford officiating.

Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Lake Charles
