She was born March 15, 1915 to Theodore and Cleona (Aquoin) Blanchette. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Henry E. LeBlanc Sr., her son, Vernon Leo LeBlanc, two brothers, Albert “A.J.” and Adam Blanchette, two sisters Dorothy Fields and Evelyn Peet, two grandsons Rory and Ross LeBlanc, one great-grandson Beau Regan, son-in-law Wilson Rogers and daughter-in-law Peggy LeBlanc.
Surviving are her three children, Marie L Rogers of Lake Charles, Henry LeBlanc Jr. of DeRidder and Cora Mott and her husband Cleadis of Lake Charles. Also surviving are fourteen grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren, four step great-grandchildren, eighteen great-great-grandchildren and 17 step-great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Rosa LeBlanc of Beaumont, TX.
Margaret was a lifelong member of Christ the King Catholic Church and will be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother.
A visitation will be on Sunday, November 2 from 4 to 8 pm with a rosary service at 6:00 pm at Hixson Funeral Home in Lake Charles. Visitation will resume on Monday at 9:00 am until the start of the funeral service at 10:30 am at the funeral home. Father Wayne LeBleau will officiate. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery.
