Mabel Bellon

Lake Charles - Mabel Derouen Bellon, 80, passed away March 26, 2012 in a local hospital.

She lived in Lake Charles since 1963 and was a member of St. Henry's Catholic Church. She was a CCD teacher and a member of Catholic Daughters and the Ladies Alter Society of Christ the King.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, John B. Bellon of Lake Charles; son, Robert Wayne Bellon and wife Judy of Lake Charles; daughter, Debbie Bellon Miller and husband Jimmie of Youngsville; seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one due on her birthday. She is preceded in death by her son Malcolm Bellon, her parents and sister.

Her service will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be in Consolata Cemetery. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com
