Louise Parr

Louise was born in Bedias, TX and has lived in Lake Charles since 1987. She retired from the Pasadena, TX Independent School District as a cafeteria manager. She was as active member of the University Baptist Church in Lake Charles, The Joy Club and the Eastern Star. Louise was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister who loved to cook for family and friends.

Left to cherish her memory include her son, Mike Parr and wife, Joy of Moss Bluff; a daughter, Pat Ficklin of Lake Charles; a sister, Ruby May Capel of Sugarland, TX; 4 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, George Woodrow (Woody) Parr.

Her Homegoing will be at 9am Wednesday, March 20, 2013, in Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. The Rev. Carlos Beard will officiate. Visitation is 6-9pm Tuesday and will resume 8am until time of service on Wednesday. Burial will be in South Park Cemetery, Pearland, TX, Rev. Doyle Evans will officiate.
