Larry aka "Larry Love", was a kind and loving man who never met a stranger. He had been a resident at the Lake Charles Care Center for the past several years. All the nurses knew him as "Luscious" for his outgoing character, a trait in which earned him the title of Mardi Gras King.
Larry was a lover of music, especially from the 60s & 70s and he was known as a killer on the dance floor.
He enjoyed watching football and was a fan of The Pittsburgh Steelers, as well as LSU. He loved long car rides, watching the news, gardening and cowboy movies. But most of all he loved his family.
Those joining him in heaven are his parents, his 5 siblings; Bobbie Jean Williams, Marybelle Drake, Raymond Williams, Melvin Williams and Bessie Landry.
Those left to cherish his memories are his 2 daughters; Felicia Williams, and Tiffanie Walker and husband Corey, 1 sister; Mary Jean Williams, 3 grandchildren; Caleb, Joshua and Gabby, as well as his best friend Connie Williams and a host of nieces and nephews.
Cremation has been entrusted to J. E. Hixson & Sons Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.JEHixson.com for the Williams family.
