He was born in Lake Charles, LA and was a lifelong resident of Creole, LA. He was a member of Tom Hebert Rd. Baptist Church in Lake Charles where he service as Deacon for many years. Jude formerly served as Fire Chief of Creole Volunteer Fire Dept and President of Cameron Parish Water Board District 7.
He retired from MI Drilling Fluids after 38 years and was currently employed by the Louisiana DOTD for 5 years. He loved cooking, fishing, outdoors, music and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Bernaline Guillory Primeaux of Grand Lake; sons, Jude Brandon Primeaux and wife Bethany of Parker, CO; Benjamin Ross Primeaux of Grand Lake; daughter, Stacey Primeaux Guidry and husband Darron of Grand Lake; brothers, J.T. Primeaux of Lake Charles; Lonnie Primeaux of Grand Lake; five grandkids, Tristan and Kristen Guidry, Hunter, Hayden and Rev Primeaux and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lasin and Beulah Primeaux, brothers, Ronald and Petrus Primeaux.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 19, 2022 from 11am until 8pm and Wednesday, July 20, 2022 from 8am until time of service at 10am at Tom Hebert Road Baptist Church, 2520 Marty Lane, Lake Charles, La 70607. Funeral Service will begin at 10am. Burial will follow at Grand Lake Sweetlake Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers/plants, the family request donations be made via venmo (@Benjamin-Primeaux) or mailed directly to Benjamin Primeaux at 140 Shirley Drive, Lake Charles, LA., 70607. Jude was a Deacon and long term member of Tom Hebert Road Baptist Church as well as an avid supporter of St. Jude's Children's Research Medical Center and the family would like to continue supporting these two organizations in his honor.
