She is survived by her father, Ernest Fruge; husband, Gene Taylor of Lake Charles, LA; sons, Edward Benoit of Lake Charles, LA, Cory Fruge of Lake Charles, LA; daughters, Rachael Benoit of Lake Charles, LA, Sabrina Fruge of Lake Charles, LA; brothers, Billy Newman of Topsy, LA, Roger Fruge of Lacassine, LA, Ernest Fruge of Lake Charles, LA; sisters, Ruby Strickland of Westlake, LA, Brenda Cox of Gillis, LA, Cathy Richard of Westlake, LA, Linda Richard of Sulphur, LA and 5 grandchildren.

Her funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday, August 5, 2011 at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Pastor Leonard Wilson will officiate. Burial will be in Farquhar Cemetery.
