Lake Charles- John B. Bellon, 79, passed away March 2, 2013 in a care center in Maurice, LA.
He was a native of Basile, LA and a resident of Lake Charles. He was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church and retired from ILA 2047.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Mabel Dereoun Bellon of Lake Charles, his parents and a son, Malcolm Bellon.
He is survived by son, Robert Wayne Bellon and wife, Judy of Lake Charles; daughter, Debbie Bellon Miller and husband, Jimmie of Youngsville, LA; brother, Kenny Bellon of Iota, LA; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
His service will be 2:30pm, Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Visitation will begin Tuesday 8am-1pm with a rosary at 10am. Interment will be in Consolata Cemetery. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com.
