James Benedict Theriot, age 67, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2016 in a local hospital.
He was a longtime resident of Creole, LA. James was a hardworking man who loved and cared for his family. He was a Mr. Fix-it and was very mechanically inclined. James also enjoyed deer hunting.
He is survived by his loving wife Veda Theriot of 48 years; daughters, Tina Cubbedge and husband Scott of Seymour TN; Christena Moses and husband Terry of Bell City LA; Kathleen Theriot of Bell City LA; sister, Debra Mobley of Campti, LA; 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
James is preceeded in death by his parents; Joseph Enos and Lorina Boudreaux Theriot.
Visitation will begin Wednesday, October 26, 2016 from 10am-1pm at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at 1pm at the funeral home.
