Gayla Campbell Guidry

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Gayla Campbell Guidry on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at the age of 64. She was born in Tennessee on April, 28 1960. She was a lifelong resident of Lake Charles, LA.

Gayla was a member of Grace Church in DeRidder, LA. She did missionary work in Mexico and gave her time to numerous charities of DeRidder. She also ran Beauregard Buddy Ball for special needs adults for over a decade.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry, Rufus Guidry Sr.

Those left to cherish her memories include her two children, Amie Mendez Theriot of Moss Bluff, and Rhonda Lynn Campbell of Moss Bluff; her grandchildren, Hank Austin Theriot and wife Megan, and Hailie Theriot and fiance John Buckley; her great-grandson Jasper Theriot. She also leaves behind two lifelong friends, Jerome Hebert of Lake Charles, LA, and Debra Carbone of Moss Bluff, LA.

The family would like to thank those who donated to her current go fund me to help with the cost of her services donations are still being accepted until Sunday

In honor of her memory, a memorial service will be held on 2pm Sunday, August 11, 2024 at Grace Church in DeRidder
