Frankie Lorraine Trahan

She was born November 26, 1917 in Orange, TX. Frankie worked 59 years for the office of Guy Sockrider Jr., Industrial Construction of Lake Charles as office manager and bookkeeper. She was a lifelong member and past Worthy Matron of The Order of the Eastern Star, Love Chapter 206 in Sulphur. She was a Charter member and president of Women in Construction.

Survivors include her daughter, Patsy Ruth Trahan of Lake Charles; great-granddaughter, Crystal Tolleson; a sister, Bettye Sue Roddam Foster and husband, Sam of Willis, TX;3 great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; Dorothy Roddam of Bridge City, TX and a very special family friend, Barabara Thibodeaux of Lake Charles.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Cuthbert Walter Roddam and Ruby Lorraine Meeks; 3 brothers, 1 sister, and 3 grandchildren.

Her funeral will be 10am, Friday, July 13, 2012 at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. The Rev. Dr. Mark Stagg will officiate. Visitation will begin, Thursday, 4pm-8pm at the funeral home and resume Friday, 9am until service time. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery in Sulphur.
