She was also a member of the Red Hats group in Westlake. Faye had a passion for sewing, and one of her cherished projects was sewing dresses for little girls through her church mission.
An avid cook, she loved experimenting with new recipes and sharing her creations with family and friends.

She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Gene Arndt; her daughter-in-law, Phyllis Arndt; her three grandchildren, Tayla, Riley, and Wyatt; and her two great-grandchildren, Simon and Sydney Faye. She is also survived by her sisters, Ruth, Lois, and Linda.
Faye and her family shared many joyful days boating, skiing, and fishing on Lake Mead near Las Vegas. In Lake Charles, she enjoyed crabbing off the dock. She also had the opportunity to travel to Germany, Hawaii, Guam, and took memorable cruises to Alaska and the Caribbean.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Memorial Hospital, The Guardian, and Amedisys for their care and compassion during Faye’s final days.
