She also had artwork published in the American Press that she designed as a commercial artist for Muellers. She was also a part of a Lake Charles Art Club.
She attended 1st Presbyterian until 1971, where she was the director of childhood education for a year. She attended Lake Charles Revival Center and for the last 30 years attended Glad Tidings Church.
Eva had many hobbies that included painting, playing piano, garage saleing and was a part of a Ladies' prayer group. She loved her family and took pride in raising 6 boys and seeing them raise families of their own. She also had a beloved feline companion named "Cat".
She is welcomed into heaven by her parents, husband, Thomas Wesley Kirby Sr.; Brother, Clarence "Bud" McChristian; Sister-in-Law, Betty Lou McChristian and grandsons Joel Kirby and Barry Kirby.
