Ernest Comeaux

He never met a stranger and always had time for his family and friends. His love for gardening was only exceeded by his love for God. His greatest joy was to share his fresh vegetables from the garden with his family and friends. He will be missed and the void he left behind in our lives can only be filled with our love for him and wonderful memories. We love you Ernie.

Survivors include his wife Kathy Davenport Comeaux of Lake Charles, LA.; Sons,Brian Comeaux and wife Leslie of Lake Charles, and Darren Comeaux of Lake Charles; step-son, Chad Leboeuf of Lake Charles; Daughter, Pam Lebouef and husband Keith of Lake Charles; step-daughters, Melissa Bordelon and husband Corey of Lake Charles, and Michelle Burch and husband Mark of Lake Charles; Brother, Anson Comeaux and wife Barbara of Lake Charles; and 12 grandchildren, Hunter Habetz, Braden and Grant Comeaux, Austin McGavock, Noah Comeaux, Shelly O’ Quain, Emily Bordelon, Jacob Bordelon, Caleb Bordelon, Dallas Burch, Dilyn Burch, and Dakota Burch. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lucien Comeaux and Eva Cormeir; and two brothers, Freddie and Norman Comeaux.

His funeral will be at Hixson Funeral Home in Lake Charles on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at 6pm. Richard Beckman will officiate and John Hoffpauir will have a personal reflection.
