She was a wonderful mother, homemaker and grandmother. She loved her family and was an awesome cook.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Adam Rider; 1 brother, Adam Reed; 3 sisters, Mary Jane Nugent, Haidee Chaumont and Helen Lantz.
She is survived by her son, Michael L. Anderson and wife, Dianna of Victorville, CA; daughters, Joan Doucet and husband Delbert of Lake Charles and Phyllis Hardy and husband, Richard of Lake Charles; sister, Ella Mae Oliver of Richmond, VA; 11 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Her service will be 11am, Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Visitation will begin Tuesday 5:00pm-10:00pm with a rosary at 6:00pm and resume Wednesday 8:00am until service time. Interment will be in Highland Memory Gardens.
