Donald R. Hargrove, 73, of Lake Charles, LA went to his eternal rest on Sunday, September 15, 2013 in a local hospital.
Mr. Hargrove was born on July 8, 1940 and was a lifelong resident of Lake Charles. He served in the United States Army from 1963 to 1965 and worked for many years as a LPN until his retirement.
He is survived by his sisters, Margaret Derouen Dudley of Lake Charles and Donna Hargrove Robertson of Sulphur; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Lee Dronett Hargrove of Lake Charles; his parents, Vivian and Herbert Hargrove of Lake Charles.
His Memorial service will be at 11am Thursday, September 19, in Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Visitation will be from 9-11am Thursday with a rosary at 10am in the funeral home.
