Mr. Guillory was born in Fenton and lived in Iowa most all of his life. He was a member of Indian Village Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher and sang in the choir, retired from the LA DOTD, was a farmer and cattleman. He owned and operated Guillory Farm Construction and Maintenance Business. He was very devoted to God, family, and his work.
Preceded in death by a son, Mike Guillory; parents, Evans and Mary Guillory.
He is survived by his wife, Claudia Dell Guillory of Iowa, LA; sons, David Guillory of Iowa, Keith Guillory and wife, Dana of Iowa, Jeff Guillory and wife, Tiffany of Iowa; brothers, Melvin Guillory of Lake Charles, Richard Guillory of Sulphur, Evans (Buck) Guillory of Iowa; sisters, Willie Mae McMullen of Sulphur; 7 grandchildren, Jennifer Hardy and husband, Greg, Justin Zaunbrecher, Jed Guillory, Courtney Guillory, Lezlee Guillory, Cade Guillory, Calee Guillory; great grandchild, Michael Hardy.
Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Rev. E.J. McCann will officiate. Pallbearers assisting in his service will be Charlie Rogers, Bobby Miller, Mark Heinen, Travis Darbonne, Jed Guillory and Justin Zaunbrecher. Burial will be in Hebert Cemetery in Hecker, LA.
