He was born in Lake Charles, LA to parents Donald Guillory Jr. and Shelly Steward.
Donald was a bright light in all our eyes. His smile was so contagious even when you have had the worse day his smile would warm your heart. He was such a loveable child and loved when Grandma Nita would talk to him so much, give him hugs and kisses, she would always make sure he was fed too and gave him the name T-bone. Donald couldn’t speak but he knew what he wanted and every time I would go to my mom’s house, he would crawl his way into my parents’ room, climb on the couch and sit with papa James to watch tv or videos on his phone. Now Donald’s Dad, anytime I would want him to smile especially when he wasn’t feeling well, I would call his dad. They loved to play the PlayStation together, he would love giving him high fives, he could play all day with his dad. I hope yall knew that Donald was a 3rd, and he lives up to that name. Pawpaw Donald Ray made sure that he got out of the house and outside they rode a motorcycle, played with animals, and as I would hold him would watch as Pawpaw worked on many vehicles in the yard. He enjoyed his maw maw too as she rocked him in the recliner he relaxes as she would sing to him. Then there’s mom, my son was my strength, he has taught me so much in my life. I would say all the time that if Donald was on my lap, he was sleepy or did not feel well. Donald knew who would give him comfort and nurture him when he needed it. I was his safe place, we loved sitting in the rocking chair and reading books, I was his peace, and he was mine. Finally, his siblings, Kiara and Khalil, would dance and laugh together a lot. Kiara would go into the living room and turn on some music and I’ll walk in the living room and the are all dancing. Donald had his famous “Stevie Wonder” rock, his head bob and bounce. He has made so many memories with all of us and let’s not forget, something that Donald has taught was to smile, even when you are at your darkest hour smile, when you are hurting smile and I do smile I will always think of you my son.
