Don was born on August 4, 1967 to Paul and Alice Lemelle in Los Angelos, CA.
Lake Charles is where he called home, he will best be remembered for his humorous nature and as the most intriguing and entertaining child of his siblings. He enjoyed singing and carrying a tune to music until Zydeco came on, where he'd quickly relocate to the dance floor and cut a rug to the rhythm of the music. He was an avid fan of the Miami Dolphins, he enjoyed fishing and cooking anything for his family and friends to enjoy. There was never a dull moment when Don was around.
He was a member of the "Repairers of the Breach 5 Fold Ministry" of Lake Charles, LA. He was proud to be the Head Deacon, Don was an incredible man of God, always a willing worker. A jack of all trades and a master of many-whatever you needed him to be at what ever time you needed him, he was there. He went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure everything and everyone was in position whether it was for a Bible Study, revival, prayer, prison ministry, holy communion, funerals, weddings or Sunday service. He perfected and completed in the spirit of excellence any task or assignment that was set before him. Don loved his family and was an awesome provider. He was very protective of his leaders, always making sure that everything concerning them, whether at the church or their home, was in order. He was so excited that his friend was his Apostle and his lifelong friends were his Pastor and assistant Pastor.
In the two years of being a member and a dedicated Deacon of the Repairers of the Breach 5 Fold Ministries, he learned to love God and life in a greater way .
He was welcomed into Heaven by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Those left to cherish his memory and carry on his fellowship in Christ are his wife, Naomi; his children, AJ Lemelle, Joshua Daniel Carter, Justin Berard, Jennifer Sims, Don Michael Berard, Jawanna Berard, Christian Lemelle, X'avier Williams, and Datrin Willams; two brothers, Ronnie (Vanessa) Lemelle and James (Cheryl) Lemelle, 16 grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
