"My Big Brother, My Protector,          My Friend"
Dennis is my Mom and Dad's first born.  He is the oldest of 7 kids.  He had the priviledge ot being there when we all came home wrapped in a little blanket.  Dennis is a very loving and compasionate son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather and uncle.  My most memoriable times with Dennis was my childhood years.  I sucked my thumb when I was little.  Dennis and Chris would tell me when I sucked my thumb that they would get the hot stuff.  I can still see them climbing up into the cabinet to get the hot stuff.  I wasn't to happy about that. It burned my mouth.  Back in the day I was "baby saucer eyes" because my eyes are so big.  Kathy was "bony marony" because she was so skinny.  Ginger was "ginger snap" because she was so little.  Gary was a baby and Kristine wasn't here yet. Kathy, Ginger, and I shared a bedroom.  Our doorknob on our closet would easily come off.  Dennis and Chris would lock us girls in our closet and pull the doorknob off.  We screamed!  They would also smother us with pillows. We didn't like that!  The most exciting thing I believe is when Dennis and Chris would make their bedroom into a scary house.  They would cover the window with a blanket, so it would be dark.  They would blindfold us. They would play a 45 record real slow, to sound scary.  Then they would put our hands in some mushy stuff.  What fun we had!  Dennis would whistle a special song just for me.  Anytime I would see him he would start whistling my song.  My song will be in my heart forever!

So sorry to hear about Dennis.  We were out of town or we would have been there.  We cherish all our wonderful memories with all of you,  you are like family to us.  Dennis will live on forever in our hearts.  Our prayers are with you one and all.

I am very sorry to hear that Dennis, my cousin, has died.  My memories of him are from around forty-five years ago, we were just teens and I was a punk, four years younger.  He introduced me to the Wolfman Jack radio show and Elvis's 45, Blue Suede Shoes.  He was a great guy then and I'm sure he was a great guy 'til the day he died.  Life is too short and way too fragile.  I guess we should all spend time with friends and family while we can.  Take care, Lyn Myers

Many, many fond memories were created during our time at Citgo together. Especially the jokes and tricks we played on others. I will always appreciate and remember your friendship.
