Catherine Fontenot

She was born in Mamou and lived in Lake Charles. Catherine was an excellent seamstress. She had worked as a sitter. Catherine enjoyed cooking for family and friends. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church.

Survivors include her son, Patrick Fontenot of Lake Charles; daughters, Cynthia Fazzio and husband, Jeal and Christine Fontenot all of Lake Charles; grandchildren, Amanda Caldwell and husband, Justin, Eric Cote and Catie Henry; and great grandchildren, Bree Caldwell and Lila Caldwell. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Clarence “ToTo” Fontenot; and sons, Fletcher, Floyd and Bobby Fontenot.

The family would like to give special thanks to Evangeline Home Health and Harbor Hospice for their loving care. Also to her neighbors who were always there for her.

Visitation will be Friday, July 17, 2015 from 4p.m. to 8p.m. with a rosary at 6p.m. at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Visitation will resume Saturday from 9a.m. until service time.
