She was born in Creole and lived in Lake Charles most of her life. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and St. Margaret Catholic Church and was a member of the Altar Society. She loved and faithfully recited the rosary. She was a nurturing and loving care giver for her family.
She is survived by her sons, Ronald Primeaux and wife Shirley of Lake Charles, J. T. Primeaux and wife, Bobbie of Creole, Lonnie Primeaux and wife, Carolyn of Grand Lake, Petrus Primeaux and wife, Cindy of Bundicks Lake and Jude Primeaux and wife, Bernaline of Creole; 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and numerous special nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lasin Primeaux; parents, Desire and Victoria Theriot Savoie; siblings, Mayo Savoie, John Colan Savoie, Ruby Boudin, Alma Carnelia Boudreaux, Ada Savoie, Anna Benoit, Camelia Bourriague and Ambrose Savoie.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 3pm, Thursday, November 8, 2012 at Sacred Heart of Creole. The Rev. Tim Goodly will officiate. Visitation will begin Wednesday, 3pm-9pm at the Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles with a rosary at 6:30pm and resume Thursday 8am until noon at the funeral home and 1pm until service time at the church.
