Bessie Agnes Theriot Little

She was born on February 12, 1917 in Grand Chenier to Ambrose and Agnes Savoie Theriot. Bessie graduated from Grand Chenier High School in 1937. She belonged to St. Eugene Catholic Church and was a member of the Ladies Altar Society. She enjoyed gardening, flowers and scrapbooking. Bessie loved rocking her grandbabies and great-grandbabies when they came to visit. Mrs. Little was a devoted friend and family member who always kept in touch with her loved ones.

Survivors include her sons, Willard Little and wife, Margaret, Kent Little and wife, Ella Mae all of Grand Chenier and Brent Little and wife, Vicki of Grand Lake; sister, Leona Theriot Broussard; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lenard Little, Jr.; her parents, Ambrose and Agnes Savoie Theriot; brothers, Clyde Theriot, Lionel Theriot, Francis Theriot and Charles Theriot; sister, Nina Mae Theriot LeBoeuf.

Visitation will be Friday, September 4, 2015 at St. Eugene Catholic from 8am until service time at 1p.m. Burial will be at Chenier Perdue Cemetery. Father Richard (Uche) Adiukwu will officiate. A rosary was held on Thursday at 7p.m. Pallbearers will be Chad Little, Cody Little, Kyle Little, Javen Little, Bryan Little and Ty Little. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dale LeBouef, Teddy Broussard, D.L. Brasseaux, Wendall Broussard, Ryan Bourriaque and Milton Collins.
