Anthony very proudly served his country in the United States Army, where he was stationed in Germany. After his time in the Army, Anthony worked for the Postal Service as a Postal Clerk for 39 years. He was a faithful member of St. Margaret Catholic Church, where he was a member of the church choir. Anthony was a member of the Knights of Columbus #3200 St. Margaret Council. He was a volunteer for many organizations and clubs such as, St. Pat's Auxiliary, CCOA, and Contraband Bingo. Anthony was also a member of the McNeese Athletic Club. He is already deeply missed by all who knew him.
Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Damon LeBato and wife Jessica; grandsons, Cody Charles, and Kyle Joseph LeBato.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Wanda Gale Dubard LeBato; sister, Nola Rita LeBato Franklin; brother, Carlo LeBato; and parents, Bennie and Lena LeBato.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation from the chapel of Hixson Funeral Home, Lake Charles, on Thursday, July 15, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A Rosary will be held at 6:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on Friday, July 16, 2021 at 8:00 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Margaret Catholic Church on Friday, July 16, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Consolata Cemetery.
