Walter Thomas Husband

He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and taught Sunday School for 26 years. Walter retired from United Parcel Service after 40 years and was inducted into the UPS Circle of Honor (An elite group of UPS drivers who have been among the safest drivers on the road, and have not had an avoidable accident for 25 years or more). He served in the US Army Reserves where he received honors as a marksman, a member of Teamsters Union, Local 89, a farmer, loved horses and an avid UK basketball fan.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Obie Earl and Beatrice Husband.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Marion June "Coozie" Husband; children, Wesley Thomas Husband (Christy) and Rebecca June Husband; grandchildren, Addie June, Elsie Anne, Gracie McCrae and Wyatt Thomas; siblings, Julie Malecki (Ray), Blanche Theresa Husband, Stephen Mitchell Husband (Mary Jo) and Anna Jane Myers.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 12 PM on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at Calvary Baptist Church (1659 Mt. Olivet Road, LaGrange, KY 40031) with burial to follow in Valley of Rest Cemetery. Visitation from 10 AM to 12 PM on Tuesday at the church.
