Thordy Woosley

He was born on August 5, 1934 in White Oak, Kentucky to the late Walter and Maggie Roney Woosley.

Thordy was a US Army Veteran, member of the VFW and Grace Baptist Church and retired from KY Trailer Manufacturing after 33 years of service.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 63 years; Anna Mae (Rison) Woosley, son; Eugene Woosley, siblings; Russell Woosley, Vetra Woosley, Sam Woosley, Hubert Woosley, Junior Woosley, Truman Woosley, Alpha Mae Moreland and Eva Lee Rawlins.

Left to cherish the memory of Thordy are his children; Barbara Burkhardt (Terry) and Ronnie Woosley, 6 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.

A celebration of Thordy's life will be held at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home, 706 W Jefferson St, LaGrange on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 11am with burial to follow at Valley of Rest in LaGrange. Visitation will be Friday evening from 4-8pm at the funeral home.

Memorial donations can be made to Hosparus or Grace Baptist Church in Thordy's name.
