He was born to the late Henry and Julia Olszewski in Bridgeport, Connecticut on September 16, 1942.
Stan was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in LaGrange. He loved golfing and photography and enjoyed skeet shooting and fishing when he could.
He is preceded in death by son, Robert Henry Olszewski; and brothers-in-law, John Rose and Arthur Hughey.
Left to cherish the memory of Stan are his wife of 60 years, Sandy Olszewski; children, Jill Howard (Bill), Susan Craft (Joe), and Jeffery Olszewski (Darcie); sisters, Fran Roman (John) and Joyce Rose; brother-in-law, James Hughey (Carol); sister-in-law, Carole VanDenBosch (Bill); grandchildren, DJ Howard, Cory Hardin, Ash Hardin, Sean Howard, and Hudson Olszewski; great-grandson, Jaxson Howard; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A mass will be held on Friday, December 27, 2024, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in LaGrange at 11am with placement to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens East at a later date. Visitation will be held at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home, 706 W Jefferson St, LaGrange on Thursday evening from 3-7pm with a prayer service starting at 6pm.
Memorial donations can be directed to the American Cancer Society in Stan's memory.
