Ruth C. Hampton 92, of LaGrange, died peacefully with family by her side on Tuesday, January 9, 2019. She is now with her Heavenly Father.
She was a member of DeHaven Baptist Church. Ruth was a graduate of Louisville Girls High School where she was voted most beautiful. In her professional life she was a long time assistant to the top oral surgeons in Louisville. Ruth loved her dogs, flowers, gardening and was an accomplished china painter.
Preceding her in death was her husband of 66 years, Bobby Hampton.
Survivors include her son, Berry Hampton (Donna); grandchildren, Goddard "Boogie" Hampton (Jennifer), Shannon Duff (Gavin), Taylor Phillips (Jay) and Tripp Hampton and 10 great grandchildren.
A memorial visitation will be 2-5 PM on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
