He retired from Eminence Speaker Company after 18 years. Roger was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, gardening and spending time with friends and family.
Preceding him in death were his wife of 43 years, Sharon; parents, Charles and Mary Jones; siblings, Nick Jones and Margie Hall.
Survivors include his children, Crystal Jones (James Evans) and Roger Jones Jr. (Tina); grandchildren, Autumn Evans, Macie Evans, Kimberly Jones and Joshua Jones; great grandchildren, Riley Shepard and Norah Evans; siblings, Billy Jones (Sherry), Marvin Jones (Loretta), Harold Jones (Cathy) and Diane Middleton (Denny).
A Celebration of His Life will be conducted at 11 AM on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home with burial to follow in Grove Hill Cemetery. Visitation from 4-8 PM on Friday and 9-11 AM on Saturday.
