He was born to the late Fred Allen and Flora King Clift on July 5, 1955 in Cincinnati, OH.
Richard was a Mr. Fix It at heart, always working on automobiles and in construction. He loved fishing and was a true family man. He wanted to help everyone and make sure everyone was happy, smiling and laughing. Above all though, Richard was most proud of being PaPaw.
Left to cherish the memory of Richard are his wife of almost 47 years; Danette (Fortner) Clift, children; Deborah Goben (Tim), Richard Allen Clift Jr. (Mary), Josh David Clift (Ashley) and Zach Jacob Clift (Georgie), 10 grandchildren; Joslynn Hillard (William), Haley Goben, Gabriel Wyatt, Jordan Clift, Ricky Clift III, Easton Goben, Leon Clift, Aselyn Fitzgerald, Joey Clift and Raylinn Clift, siblings; Gary Clift (Debbie), Donna Cobb (Rick), Michael Clift, Debbie Peters (Jim), Brenda Norman, Fred Clift and Becky Gibson (Mark), extended family and friends.
A celebration of Richard's life will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2023 from 2-6pm at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home, 706 W Jefferson St, LaGrange, KY.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be directed to help with funeral services to United Citizens Bank in Pendleton.
