He was born to Russell and Johanna Wilt in Allentown, PA on May 22, 1967.
Ray worked for 28 years with the Ford Motor Company at the Kentucky Truck Plant; his most recent title was Material Logistics Coordinator & Scheduling Supervisor. He served in the United States Army during the Persian Gulf War in Operation Desert Storm reaching the rank of Staff Sergeant and receiving the Bronze Star.
He is preceded in death by his mother-in-law: Rexanne Ruckriegel.
Left to cherish the memory of Ray are his wife of 29 years; Jennifer Ruckriegel Wilt, 3 sons; Nick, Zack and Alex Wilt, parents; Russell and Johanna Wilt, siblings; Hettie Sapp (Tony) and Mark Wilt (Mindi), father-in-law; Wayne Ruckriegel, sibling-in-laws; Beth McBride (Tom) and Andrew Ruckriegel (Karin), nieces; Olivia Evanow (Josh) and Leah Poe (Brandon), great-nephews; Elijah, Ezra and Elliott Evanow, extended family and many friends.
A memorial gathering will be held from 1-5pm on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home & Cremation Services. The service will start at 5pm with military honors.
Memorial donations can be made in Ray's name to Tunnels to Towers (T2T) or Bluegrass Center for Autism.
