She was born to the late Leo Alton and Dorothy Kathleen (Cotnell) Singer in Oldham County, KY on June 15, 1936.
Jo Ann was a member of Covington Ridge Baptist Church and retired in accounts payable for G & B Leasing. She loved fishing and gardening.
She is preceded in death by her first husband; Edward Houston, second husband; Robert E. Barnhill, son; Hank Houston, step-children; Belinda Broyles and Lance Barnhill Sr., grandchildren; Lance Barnhill Jr. and Christopher Matthew Broyles
Left to cherish the memory of Jo Ann are her close friends; Bob Steele and Lysa Seitz, adopted son; Jim McClintock (Janice), daughter-in-law; Dianna Barnhill, son-in-law; Neil Broyles, granddaughters; Elizabeth Wolz (Joseph) and Katie Norris (Jason), 3 great-grandchildren, sister; Leona Duncan, extended family and friends.
A celebration of life for Jo Ann will be held at Heady-Radcliffe, 706 W Jefferson St, LaGrange on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at1pm with burial to follow at Valley of Rest in LaGrange. Visitation will be immediately before the service from 11am-1pm.
Memorial donations can be made in Jo Ann's name to the American Cancer Society.
