Minnie Louise Johnson

She was born to the late Brady and Viola Sanders Beaumont on October 23, 1932 in LaGrange, Kentucky.

Minnie was a Nanny to many children in the Anchorage and surrounding area. She loved dancing to R n B music and was a lifetime member of First Baptist Church in LaGrange, KY.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 25 years; Lawrence Johnson, children; Angela Johnson and Cecil Booker, and siblings; Dora Ross, James Beaumont, John Beaumont, Wallace Beaumont, Wilson Beaumont and Howard Beaumont.

Left to cherish the memory of Minnie are her children; Marquitta Johnson and Terry Booker (Linda), grandchildren; Kennetha Johnson, Lynn Booker (LeLe), LaTasha Booker-White (Randall), Tyrie Johnson, Clartez Johnson, Cedre Johnson and Tia Booker, great-grandchildren; Gary Jr., Kailynn, China, Tyrie Jr., Tywuan, Tyshon, Tyia, Kingston, Tez, DeAnthony, Aymeric and NaLeigha, great-great-grandchildren; Koa and Zaire, long time friend and father of Cecil and Terry; Harry Booker, sister-in-laws; Shirley and Mary Beaumont, host of nieces and nephews, extended family and numerous friends.

A homegoing service for Minnie Johnson will be held at First Baptist Church, 419 N First Ave, LaGrange, KY 40031 at 1pm on Saturday, November 12, 2022 with burial to follow at Valley of Rest Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church from 11am until the start of the service. The repass will be at the church following the burial.
