She was a member of LaGrange Baptist Church and retired from LaGrange Elementary after 42 years.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, R.A. Bell and grandson, Aaron Patrick Shackelford.
Left to cherish the memory of Mary Lou are her daughters, Mary Lynne Shackelford and Susan Potts (Brad); grandchildren, Sara Green (Steve), Katie Workman (Eric), Cameron Potts (Kerry-Lyn), Blake Shackelford, and Tyler Potts (Katie), 7 great grandchildren, sister, Jean Taylor; extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at LaGrange Baptist Church on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 11:30am with burial to follow in Floydsburg Cemetery in Crestwood, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 9:30am until the start of the service at the church.
