Mable Ruth Jones

Mable Ruth Jones , born September 4, 1941, to the late Alfred and Frances Knight in Louisville, Kentucky passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior on April 8, 2025. A devoted mother, grandmother, wife, steadfast Christian, and cherished friend, Mable leaves behind a legacy of faith, love and unwavering grace. Her faith was the cornerstone of everything she did-from the quiet strength she showed in hard times, to the boundless kindness she offered to everyone she met.

Mable's greatest joy in life was her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She was a longtime member of Good Shepherd Baptist Church. Her bible worn with love and filled with handwritten notes, was a testament to the life she lived in a devotion to God.

Mable’s legacy will live on in the hearts of her family: her husband of 31 years, Maynard Jones, her beloved Aunt, Edna Mae Olsen, her siblings, Mary Catherine Paris, Alberta Mae Conrad, and brother-in-law, Jim Guntzviller along with her children, Roger Martin (Donna), Josh Hall (Margie), Brenda Zetko (John), Lilly Hall (Willy Edens). Her surviving step children, Bob, Joe, Mike, Harold, Joyce, Lou Ellen, Terry, Mary, and Linda. Along with her 11 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and countless step grand and great- grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, from 12 PM to 2 PM, with a funeral service beginning at 2 PM. Burial will follow at Good Shepherd Baptist Cemetery.
