Linda Ann Lewis

March 3, 1948 – August 19, 2024

Linda Ann Lewis, (Maw-maw), beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2024, in LaGrange, Kentucky, at the age of 76. Born in Louisville, Kentucky, on March 3, 1948, Linda was known for her dedication, faith, kindness, and unwavering love for her family and friends.

Linda's life was marked by her dedication to her family and loved ones. She grew up in Louisville and began her journey into adulthood marrying the love of her life, Jimmy. She was devoted to her husband raising a loving family, instilling in them the values of church, compassion, hard work, and perseverance. In addition to being our matriarch, she could be found working long, hard hours in the service industry. Linda was one of the original Ladyfingers employees, where she worked for 20+ years.

Linda is survived by her children Craig Lewis (Alesha) and Chantel Lewis (Bobby McGrew); Christopher Lewis (Kristi), Cassandra Lewellen (Jordan), Samantha Perry (Seth) and Vanessa Perry (Hunter); great grandchildren, Presley, Xander, Daxton, Kristal and Holly; brothers Rick Darnell (Joy) and Douglas Scott (Lisa); many nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends and they will forever cherish the memories they shared with her. Linda is also survived by her cherished gerbil grandpets, Squeaky and Binky. She was preceded in death by her loving husband James P. Lewis; her parents Anna Mae Scott and Cecil Paul Darnell Sr; brother Cecil P. Darnell Jr.

A memorial service will be held at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 706 W Jefferson St, LaGrange, KY 40031 on Sunday, August 25, 2024 at 4pm with a memorial gathering starting at 1pm until the start of the service. Linda will be laid to rest with her husband at Resthaven Memorial Park in Louisville at a later date.

Linda Ann Lewis will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to be a part of her life.
