Lawrence Walter Stevens

He was born on April 30, 1946 to the late Walter Leo and Betty (Mathes) Stevens in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Larry was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, served in the United States Air Force and retired from General Electric as a National Service Manager. He enjoyed traveling abroad and woodworking, but most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother; Gregory Stevens.

Left to cherish the memory of Larry are his wife of 55 years; Mary Meyer Stevens, children; David Stevens (Amy), Tom Stevens and Jennifer Watts (Nathaniel), 5 grandchildren; Kendra Stevens, Seth Stevens, Madison Stevens, Cameron Stevens and Colton Watts, brother; Robert Stevens (Kay), sister-in-law; JoAnn Stevens, extended family and friends.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 502 5th Ave, LaGrange, KY on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at 11am with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens East in Louisville, KY. Visitation will be at the church from 9am until the start of Mass.
