L. Carl Tipton

He was a member of Ballardsville Baptist Church, Fortitude Masonic Lodge #47, Albert Pike Scottish Rite Club, Shriners and a Kentucky Colonel. He was an Army Veteran, retired from General Electric and worked at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife: Patsy Cole Tipton; sisters: Josephine Douglas and Marie Ransdell (George); niece and nephews: Shawna Cassity, Michael Ransdell, Donnie Helton and Jonathan Roberts. Great niece and nephews: Abigail Roberts, Ben Meffert, Taylor Cassity and Tristan Roberts.

A Funeral Service will be conducted at 1:00 PM Friday, March 25, 2011 at Ballardsville Baptist Church. Burial to follow in the Valley of Rest Cemetery. Visitation 1-8 PM Thursday at Heady Radcliffe Funeral Home & Cremation Services and after 10:00 AM Friday at the church.
