Glenda Jean Hancock-Edens

She was born to the late William and Betty Lou Hancock on April 20, 1961 in LaGrange, KY.

Glenda loved singing, playing cards, and being around people. She had a heart of gold; always helping others and her favorite role was being a Mom and Mamaw. Many would say she was the best Mashed Potatoes around!

She is preceded in death by her brothers; Larry Ray Hancock and Randy Allen Hancock.

Left to cherish the memory of Glenda are her husband; Daniel Edens, children; Amanda Powell-Peyton (Brian) and Austin Horstman (Elizabeth Miller), adopted daughter; Mykayla Horton-Hancock, grandchildren; Zachary Peyton (Carissa), MaKenzey Peyton (Paul) and MaKenley Peyton (Dani), great-grandchildren; Tynnslee Peyton and 2 on the way; Darrell James "DJ" and Wrenley Louelle Jean, siblings; Bill Hancock, Carroll David "CD" Hancock and Toni Hancock Toney, beloved dogs; Bentley and Gizmo, many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A celebration of Glenda's life will be held at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home, 706 W Jefferson St, LaGrange on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at 4pm with burial to follow at Valley of Rest Cemetery in LaGrange. Visitation will be from 11am until the start of the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home to help cover services.
