She was born to the late Robert and Lucille (Brown ) Soards in LaGrange, Kentucky on November 30, 1946.
Donna worked at Liberty Elementary in the cafeteria and was a member of Westport Baptist Church. She enjoyed bird watching, quilting and reading.
She is preceded in death by her husband; Chester Orval “Chick” Gentry, parents and sister; Bobbie Ann Miller.
Left to cherish the memory of Donna are her daughter; Kathy Ann Gentry, brother; Ricky L Soards (Jamie), niece; Penny Cleveland (Jay), nephews; Dwayne Miller (Karen), Jordan Soards (Misty) and Jacob Soards (Summer), great-niece; Nichole Neuner (Matthew), great-nephews; Ryan Miller (Chris), Brandon Cleveland ( Allison), Joel Cleveland (Lauren), and Justin Cleveland ( Shelby), extended family and friends.
A celebration of Donna’s life will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at 11am at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 706 W Jefferson St, LaGrange, KY 40031 with burial to follow at Valley of Rest. Visitation will be on Wednesday evening from 4-8 pm at the funeral home.
