David Ashley McMahan

He was born on May 16, 1961 in Louisville, Kentucky to William Paul McMahan and Binnie Louise Helton McMahan.

David graduated from Seneca High School in 1979 and received his associate's degree in computer science from Jefferson Community College. An avid outdoorsman, he worked at the original Quest Outdoors on Bardstown Road during his late teen years and early 20s. He worked in the tech industry for forty years, most recently at NTT Data. David enjoyed ham radios, travel, owning and riding horses, and loved dogs. He was twice married.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Paul McMahan Sr.

Left to cherish the memory of David are his mother, Louise McMahan; brother, William McMahan (Candy); nephew, Derek McMahan (Lorraine); niece, Samantha McMahan Mallory (Ben); very special friend, Renee Larmour, and extended family and friends.

A time of gathering to celebrate the life of David will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025, from 10am until Noon at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home, 706 W Jefferson St, LaGrange, Kentucky before heading to Valley of Rest in LaGrange, Kentucky for a graveside service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be directed in David's name to the Kentucky Humane Society.
