So sorry for your loss.  Dan was one of the sweetest men I've ever met.  I have many fond memories of him when we lived down the street from you all on Franklin.  He always made my day when I'd see him and I will miss him very much.   You are in my thoughts and prayers.

We are all very sad that Pa passed this week. I'm glad now he can see Brett and I's games from heaven now and he gets to do all the things he wished that he could do in the physical world. Dan was a great friend and role model. He treated my children like they were his own. He was always friendly and had a smile on his face. Dan would go out of his way to help others, even compromising his own needs to do so. He did it for me many times. I have nothing but respect for Dan, and rejoice in his passing from mortal pain and into the arms of his maker. Kim and Kris are very lucky to have had such a wonderful father, and now he will watch over you from heaven. We all loved Dan.

So glad he is at peace and no longer suffering. May God give you all comfort and strength.
