He was born on December 16, 1935 to the late Frank and Mary Helen Hoffmann in Louisville, KY.
Charles was a Produce Manager for Kroger, where he worked for 45 years. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and a former member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, where he attended grade school. He also attended Flaget High School in Louisville, KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings; Helen Haller and George Hoffmann.
Left to cherish the memory of Charles are his wife of 45 years; Ruby Hoffmann, children; Charles Hoffmann Jr. (Winnie), Mary Goff (Wayne), and Frank Hoffmann (Tracy), 10 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 11am with burial to follow at Floydsburg Cemetery in Crestwood, KY. Visitation will be held Monday evening from 3-8pm at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home.
