He was born to the late William and Elizabeth (Lamb) Gullett on January 7, 1936 in Brownsboro, KY.
Arthur was a faithful member of New Hope Baptist Church where he was an Elder and Song Leader. He had a passion for fishing and hunting. Arthur worked for the City of Anchorage as their Maintenance Supervisor and once retired he became everyone’s Mr. Fix It, always happy to help. He was an avid UK fan and you knew not to interrupt him during his games.
He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings; Nannie “B” Eldridge, Cricket Murray, Chester Gullett, and many more.
Left to cherish the memory of Arthur are his wife of 57 years; Joyce Ann (Rose) Gullett, children; William Gullett, Ricky Gullett (Debbie), Juanita “Gail” Hogan Vonasch, Ray Gullett, Robbie Gullett (Sarlinee) and Rebecca Zunun (David), grandchildren; Tabitha Louden (JW), Monte Gullett (Katrina), Nelson Gullett (Sharon), Mya, Joe Hogan, Lauren Hogan, Krissi Vonasch, Matthew Ray Gullett, Chance Reynolds, David Zunun, Ashley Zunun (Christian), and Raymond Zunun, great-grandchldren; Timothy, Jordan and Nevaeh Gullett, sister; Kathleen Adler, many extended family and friends.
A celebration of Arthur’s life will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at 11am at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 706 W Jefferson St, Lagrange, KY 40031 with burial to follow at LMGE. Visitation will be from 4-8pm at the funeral home on Tuesday evening. The family would also like to invite visitors to New Hope Baptist Church following the burial at LMGE.
