Verna W. Brown

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Brown and her daughter, Patsy L. Brown Osborne.

Mrs. Brown was a charter member of Sunnyside Baptist Church, a member of the Lois Sunday School Class, and WMU. She was also a member of the Pepperete Club.

She leaves to cherish her memory, three sons, Robert Eugene and Carol Brown; Jimmy and Carolyn Brown; Billy and Vickie Brown; seven grandchildren, Cathy (Tony) Richardson; Steve Brown; Jeff (Jennifer) Brown; Suzanne (Tod) Darda; BJ (Brandy) Brown; Jason Lindsey; Brian Lindsey; nine great grandchildren, Clay (Stephanie) Richardson; Carly (Alex) Mobley; Ryan Brown; Alex Brown; Colby Darda; Morgan Brown; Lili Brown; Noah Lindsey; Caden Lindsey; one brother, Ralph Norris; several nieces, nephews; a special caregiver, Jane Fitts; other relatives and friends.

The Gathering of family and friends will be Saturday, November 9, 2013 from 1:00-3:00 P.M. at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary. The funeral service will be at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby. Burial will follow in Shadowlawn Cemetery.

The family will gather at the home of Mrs. Verna Brown, 142 Mallory Dr. LaGrange. GA. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Sunnyside Baptist Church.
