Mr. Stokley was born April 5, 1952 in LaGrange, GA, son of the late Trice Hill Stokley, Sr. and Nellie Ruth Smith Stokley. He was Southern Baptist and was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army. Mr. Stokley was employed with Walmart Distribution Center before retiring. He was a member of the local VFW and the American Legion. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Merna Stokley and son, James Lamar Stokley.
Survivors include his children, Barbara Kirkland (Nick), Tammy Richardson (Danny), Jerome Stokley (Amie), Jeremy Stokley (Kelle), and Timothy J. Stokley; grandchildren, Daniel, Jessica, Cody, Allison, Josh, Kalyn, TC, Haylee, Brennan, Skylar, Braxton, Cooper, Carter, and Jordan; 14 great grandchildren; brother, Tracey Stokley; and several nieces and nephews.
The Celebration of Life service will be held 10:00 A.M. Monday, October 31, 2022 in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, LaGrange, GA with Rev. Brad Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Restlawn Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
