Tommy was born in Roopville, GA to the late Vernon Dee McCormick and Beatrice Harper McCormick.
Tommy was a proud Marine Corps Veteran who served his country honorably. He spent his career and a Pipefitter with the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 150 Union.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Hepburn-McCormick; children, Angel McCormick, Leslie McCormick, Katie McCormick, Chris Jones and Chandra Jones; sisters, Jean (William) Norwood, Sandy McCormick and Debbie (Chuck) Bonner; brothers, Joey (Lisa) McCormick and Wayne McCormick; grandchildren, Rebel Osborne, Hunter Jenkins, Braeden Edge, Zoe Edge and Everly White along with several nieces, nephews and close friends.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held Monday, November 18, 2024 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary in LaGrange, GA. The Celebration of Life Service will take place at 2:00 PM. Tommy will be laid to rest in the Pot Ash Church of God Cemetery in Pot Ash, AL.
