Mr. Ballard was born February 15, 1926 in LaGrange, GA, son of the late William and Willie Alene Ballard. He was Methodist by faith and was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran serving in World War II. Mr. Ballard was the owner of Ballard Grocery Store before retiring.
Mr. Ballard is survived by his wife of 77 years, Mildred Inez Ballard; daughters, Sandra B. Keeble and Debra B. Dokken; granddaughter, Morgan Keeble; and a nephew, Jerome McClendon (Kathy).
A Celebration of Life service will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 18, 2023 in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, LaGrange, GA. Burial will follow in Shadowlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 17, 2023 from 4:30 P.M. to 6:30 P.M. at the funeral home.
